The reason
I make games

Stuart Martin, Founder

I’m Stuart, CEO and Co-founder of Hyper Luminal Games. Over the past 12+ years, I’ve helped build Scotland’s largest independent work-for-hire studio, developed over 100 games and brought creative ideas to life alongside some of the most talented people in the industry. Silly Bytes is my chance to put those years of experience into a new, independent venture with a playfully silly direction of its own.

At heart, I’m a family man. Having fun with my family is what matters most to me, and that’s the inspiration behind Silly Bytes. I want to make games that bring people together, make us laugh and turn an ordinary evening into something memorable. Working with independent collaborators, I’m bringing my own ideas to life with that simple goal in mind. I’m supported by the two best playtesters in the world and a wife who still laughs at my jokes after all these years.

This is a small studio with silly ambitions. Life is too short not to have fun!
